Microsoft’s Bing Copilot (formerly again called as Bing Chat) is an AI-powered chatbot within Bing search engine and Microsoft Edge browser. Some essential features of Bing Copilot are:

Feature sets: Bing Copilot helps users to find information with interactive, conversational answers to questions. It can draft text such as poems, essays or code, summarize contents on the web and even create images using an integrated tool called Image Creator from Microsoft Designer.

Technology: Bing Copilot is powered by a specialized version of OpenAI’s large language models — GPT-4, and later updates of the technology like GPT-4 Turbo for Copilot Pro customers. It also has DALL-E for image generation abilities.

How you access it: Users can use Bing Copilot on the Bing website, Microsoft Edge, and through dedicated apps for mobile devices. It’s also available via the Bing app, where it’s front and center.

Bing Copilot can be used free of charge as well as paid (named Copilot Pro): Commercial Use and Data Protection The enterprise edition, previously branded as Bing Chat Enterprise and now referred to as Microsoft Copilot with Data Protection, comes with added data protection that ensures that user queries and responses are never stored or used to train AI models.

Bing Copilot is updated regularly by Microsoft with new features. There have been many updates, such as new conversation styles (Creative, Precise, Balanced), plugins support, and improvements in AI image generation and code generation. There’s also been a large emphasis on broadening the model’s availability and improving its features with every update.
